Intro
When human beings experience trauma, or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. I help my clients, who include adolescents and adults to find healthy perceptions of themselves. Previously, I worked with people who were victims of torture and sexual violence, others who were witness of war, incarcerated individuals and people who suffered from depression, anxiety or other different personality problems. I have been conducting therapy sessions for several years. Through my learned knowledge and past experience, I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so I follow a range of modalities including psychodynamic, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). And now dwelling more into the learning of Dr. Gabor Mate through (Compassion Inquiry). The approach followed in the sessions is tailored to the client need and presenting goals.
