A clinical psychologist holding a license to practice the profession from the Jordanian Ministry of Health, a BA in Psychology from the University of Jordan, and a MA in Clinical Psychology from Al-Ahliyya Amman University
She trained at the Queen Rania Center for the Family and the Child in the hotline program to deal with cases of domestic violence and sexual assault as a provider of psychological services over the phone, in addition to training at the National Center for Mental Health / Fuheis, and then worked in the field of community organizations that deal with asylum matters with affected people Al-Hroub comes from different groups and ages as a provider of psychological services and psychotherapy and in charge of the training department, all the way to the assistant director general of the Prosperous Future Association in Amman.
She holds several specialized trainings in psychological fields such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical therapy, treatment of sexual disorders, and trauma therapy through bilateral eye movement therapy for gradual desensitization and reprocessing, as well as drama therapy, play, emotional release therapy, and addiction treatment.
Qualified to give trainings, workshops and lectures to students, interested people and specialists in the field of psychology, she is currently working with Dr. Hashem Al-Fakhouri's Psychiatry and Addiction Clinic as Director of the Psychiatric Department and as a specialist in assessment, diagnosis and clinical psychotherapy.
Member of the Jordanian Psychological Association, Member of the Jordanian Association of Clinical Psychologists, Member of the International Society of Sexual Medicine, Member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Arts at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Contributing Member of the “Oltime” initiative to reduce sexual harassment.
